Pattern Story
This Steller’s jay adds a bit of real local color to our high elevation valley. He has a swagger and is an aggressive cat-caller. If he screeches at you, you’ve strayed into his territory. Why not wear a bit of local color in honor of one of our “real” celebrities. This gaiter features an element of old Aspen, when all the local license plates sported “ZG.”
Product Story
Gaiters are highly versatile and can be worn as a face covering, bandana, balaclava, helmet liner, headband, hair tie, or scarf. It keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer, blocking wind, dust, bugs, sweat, while boasting a UPF 50+ rating, protecting you from the harsh sun. The gaiter can be worn dry, wicking away moisture, or damp, to provide relief from the heat. It packs down easily to fit in your pocket or a bag. Red bird gaiter.
Material
92% Recycled polyester, 8% Spandex. Plastic bottles are collected in the USA and instead of ending in landfills, they are processed by Unifi® and made into Repreve® Recycled Fiber. Yarn is milled domestically and knitted into fabric before being transported to our Denver manufacturer.
Care
Hand wash, no bleach to minimize microplastic waste, or wash cold in washing bags. Hang dry, iron low. Do not dry clean.
