Sanctuary

This piece is called Sanctuary — a theme that comes up again and again in my work. The notion of sanctuary is so individual —for me it is a place of peace, love and safety. I find it in the wilderness, in my gardens, reading, walking, in my immediate family (husband, children and dogs) and always, always in creative process — painting and writing. 2008
