Here’s to the mighty trio who turned me into a mother. I came to motherhood late in life and one of my favorite kid quips came via our youngest: “Mom, our class figured it out. You are the oldest mother in the class — but don’t worry —you don’t look the oldest!” I’ll take it! I am now an empty nester who impatiently awaits their returns like a child waiting for a birthday. I marvel at their expanding intellects and worldview. Thank you my beloveds for bringing so much joy, and laughter, and for being loving and constant teachers. Los quiero mucho.⁠
