My mother knew that scarves were great fashion hacks. She was a classic southern lady in one sense: she took sartorial care with her public appearance, and always had a scarf to punctuate her outfit. Scarves are also a great way to streamline your closet without straining the bank or the planet by endlessly refurbishing your wardrobe. I wanted to design a departure from the standard paisley or the basic floral repeats.
Inspired by a piece of vintage Indian wallpaper at a rummage sale and first translated into an original watercolor, then into the Wallflower pattern design.

Wash separately in cool water on a gentle/delicate setting, using phosphate-free detergent. Machine dry using a low temperature or permanent press setting and remove promptly to avoid wrinkles. Iron if necessary with a very light touch on a synthetic setting with the printed side down for best results.
