Pattern Story

I register the world in color and pattern. Almost all of my inspiration comes from stepping out my front door–the small details in my garden, the sweep of the wilderness in my native Colorado, the maps that animals leave in their wake. These observations leave their own imprint and guide my compositions.

Product Story

I grew up surrounded by journalists, then married one, so I love watching reporters whip out their steno pads and start taking notes. I decided my husband’s run-of-the-mill steno pads needed a design elevation. The size is ideal for tucking into your tote or backpack. The stormy colors and shapes on this notebook were inspired by a family trip to the beautiful Harbour Island in the Bahamas.

Notebook pages are printed with soy ink on a thick 70# off-white paper. Flexible double-thick front cover with a durable book board back cover.
In order to improve the sustainability of our notebooks, we have upgraded the pages to 100% post-consumer waste paper.
