Indigo Circles Face Mask

We’ve taken a popular mask design and have added a dash of color and dose of pattern to make a blue patterned face mask. This mask design is constructed from organic cotton sateen on the outside and lined with a cotton shirting fabric on the interior.  The edges are left open so that an additional filter layer can be inserted if so desired. The elastic is 30″ in length and can be adjusted by simply tying a knot to shorten.

We are donating $5 from each mask sale to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Product Story

Cloth face mask design inspired by the classic geometrical problem of squaring the circle. Blue and white geometric pattern. While these are not medical grade, they are better than nothing and are designed such that a filter can be added for additional protection. We adapted our mask pattern from State.

Pattern Story

This painting was inspired by the classic geometrical problem of squaring the circle. “Squaring the circle” served as a good personal metaphor, since I was grappling with what I thought were insurmountable challenges. After I created this piece the tides shifted, and that tale has now been told out, but I do remember what a delight this was to paint.

Printed organic cotton. Printed using ecologically-safe inks. Printed by Spoonflower. Handsewn by a small team of dedicated women throughout the United States.
