This piece is from a small group of watercolor paintings on 9/11. My husband and I watched in disbelief and terror, when thousands were murdered as each tower collapsed, from our roof in our Chelsea loft. Like all of our fellow New Yorkers, and the world, we felt so helpless and heartbroken. Those memories, and the images, are impossible to relinquish, but I did manage a series from that day. 2001.
Original watercolor on watercolor paper, framed.
