The painter Wassily Kandinsky once quipped that everything begins with a dot. We couldn’t agree more. Isa starts with that dot, then moves into a sketch, and then onto a painting. And then the collaboration begins. The studio team translates Isa’s art into our line of textiles and paper goods. Every member of our team pitches in to keep the design fresh and moving forward.

MEET THE ARTIST
Isa has spent the last thirty years working in watercolor, acrylic and mixed media. She has also taught workshops at many art institutions, including Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, Colorado, and the Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. She writes a regular blog for her studio practice and a column for the Chronicle of Philanthropy. She lives outside of Aspen, Colorado, with her husband, the writer and producer Daniel A. Shaw in her award-winning Mojo Gardens with two children and various dogs. She gets into the hills at every opportunity to peer at things.
